The important factors for establishing the test area included the lengthy and trusted collaboration between different stakeholders. These comprised the active work done by the leading maritime industry actors based on the Strategic Research Agenda, DIMECC s digital and manufacturing cocreation platform, government agencies (LVM, FTA, and Trafi) as well as Business Finland, who enabled the funding for the business-lead ecosystem initiative.
