R10 Industry Relations Coordination (IRC) Committee Issues 1. Need Industry relations chair in each section. 2. There are limited Industry / professionals oriented programs and we need to plan at least one event every section. Tools 1. Need sections to identify Industry members using SAM IEEE. Challenges 1. Engaging Industry needs across various experience groups YP : Need more engagement with Startups Senior members : Platform for showcasing their experiences. Opportunities chapter TEMS - Technology and Engineering Management Society (TEMS)is formed globally to engage leaders across industry and academia. we need to form chapters across sections for TEMS so that this becomes a forum for industry engagement.

ECIM Committee Issues 1. Websites are as good as the information being presented. R10 Execom and Sections have to report events / announcements periodically. 2. Social media interaction - R10 sections and members alike have to link their social media plans with R10 so that all members in the region get updates on Facebook or Twitter. For e.g. an initiative in NZ, should they tweet about it, should add @ieeer10 / #ieeer10 so that all members following ieeer10 would get an update Tools 1. Sections should provide R10 ECM team with the links to their website to link all together under one umbrella. For items 2-5, sections should actively participate and contribute in terms of sharing events and articles to make newsletter and website relevant. 2. R10 app 3. R10 website 4. R10 social media assets 5. FuildReview for awards process Challenges 1. Members to contribute to information sharing via social media and website Opportunities 1. IEEE R10 website and app one stop shop to know all happenings in the region. 2. Streamlining awards process similar to MGA - use to FluidReview tool 3. Actively promote Collabratec adoption 4. Members to start blogging about their events, views on technology, opinions etc. to engage members 5. Society/ Skillconnect ) 3. Challenges - lack of volunteer time and resource - lack of strong available leaders to inspire education engagement 4.
