She currently manages a team of QuadraMed Project Managers and Implementation Consultants from our New York Office. Prior to her vendor experience, Santina began her career in healthcare as a Medical Technologist and Physician Office Laboratory Manager. Joanne August, RN, MS, Manager, QuadraMed Joanne has spent the last 20 years of her more than 30 years in healthcare working with the AcuityPlus and workload measurement (and predecessors) products. In addition to implementing the system she focuses on assisting clients to understand and interpret the information relative to their organization. Of particular interest and expertise is the application of workload measurement data to the nursing labor budget process. Has presented at several user group conferences and other national conferences. Nancy Barton, RN, MSN, Director of Staffing, Northeast Georgia Health System Thirty seven years of nursing experience, the last 20 in management and leadership positions with an emphasis on the cost of care and staffing from a clinical outcomes and budgeting perspective. Experience also includes teaching at the college level and membership in several professional organizations including AONE, NAHQ and Sigma Theta Tau. Presented at numerous conferences including HIMSS 2009 on the topic of acuity based staffing and budgeting and the significance and benefit of partnering with finance and information systems. Linda Baum, Senior Vice President, Customer Services Linda Baum joined the QuadraMed Management Team in 2003, and accepted her current position in 2005. As an expert across the spectrum of healthcare information technology, her responsibilities are broad based and include enterprise wide customer support and implementation services. Prior to 2003, she served eight years as Senior Account Manager for the ADP Claims Services Group. In this position, Ms. Baum managed the delivery of medical bill review software and outsourcing services to Property & Casualty insurance companies, growing this business segment to more than $9 million in annual revenue. Previously, Linda Baum worked with Compucare, acquired by QuadraMed in 1999. She was the company's Director of Product Marketing. Her earlier experience with Compucare also included a variety of positions in customer services. Ms. Baum earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with High Honor majoring in Anthropology and Linguistics from Michigan State University, and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies. Wyvonne Johnson is the manager of Technical Services for QuadraMed Corporation. She has over 22 years of hospital experience including laboratory and system management which included 3 years as an Affinity Applications manager. Wyvonne has nine years of vendor experience encompassing implementation of Affinity, QES, Affinity Pharmacy interfaces and interface engines (Cloverleaf and Ensemble). Currently she manages Technical Services of QuadraMed in which she manages those areas listed above as well as Affinity conversions, SQL Connect, Affinity query, QES Report Writing, QCPR report writing and Data Warehouse. Buppy Kane, Technical Consultant, QuadraMed Buppy Kane has over 10 years of reporting experience in the HIM industry. She is currently 6 years at QuadraMed specializing in JReports, the adhoc report writer used with the Quantim application. Additional responsibilities include on site training for all levels of JReport users, beginning to advanced, and assisting clients in creating custom adhoc reports. She is currently employed at Seton Medical Center in Daly City and is the pharmacist champion for their Electronic Medical Record project. Mike Lomax, QuadraMed Mike Lomax has been in the computer industry as a System Engineer/ Administrator for 16 years. For the past 11 years he has been working with the QCPR product installing systems for new customers, replacing aging systems for existing customers, providing QCPR System Operations Staff Training and providing support to the companies Development Staff. Ken has application experience as a Programmer/Developer and/or Implementation Project Leader for applications including Registration/ADT, Medical Records Index, Chart Locator, Appointment Scheduling, Order Management, Department Management, Lab, Pharmacy, Radiology, Anatomic Pathology, OR Management, and Nurse Staffing/Acuity. Other positions and responsibilities include hardware and systems support manager, hardware and systems product manager, third party hardware partner relationships, benchmark and system performance testing, configuration development and quoting, and sales support. Areas of knowledge include hardware (servers and storage), server and storage virtualization, high availability and disaster recovery, system benchmark testing and load simulation, system tuning and performance, and InterSystems technology. Joe Taraszkiewicz, BS, RT(R), Director, Client Support, QuadraMed Joe Taraszkiewicz has been with QuadraMed for eleven years and has managed support teams both stateside and abroad including Australia and the UK. He is a registered and licensed Radiology Technologist with over seventeen years of clinical experience and over twenty two years in the customer service industry. Joe Testa, Principal Installation Consultant, QuadraMed Joe has over 35 years healthcare financial management experience in hospitals and hospital software vendors. He has been with QuadraMed for more than 16 years. Jennifer Thomaszewski, RN, CCRN, Clinical Informatics Registered Nurse, Princeton Healthcare System As a Clinical Informatics RN, Jennifer was responsible for the coordination and delivery of education to the entire nursing department once the changes to the patient assessment were made. Currently involved in the ongoing assessment and evaluation of the effectiveness of the current nursing assessment to identify potential changes need to ensure accurate and timely documentation for nursing. Initial involvement in Registered Nurse workflow assessment by a third party. Once she was
moved to a Clinical Informatics RN coordinated and delivered the education for the nursing staff. Experience as an end user working in the ICU department helped to identify pros and cons to the current nursing assessment documentation. Todd Tyler, VP Support and Technical Services, QuadraMed Todd has 11 years experience at QuadraMed in the areas of Support, Implementation, Sales, and Project Management. Laura Tyndall, BS, Pharm.D., Product Manager, QuadraMed Dr. Tyndall is with the Care Management Product Management Division of QuadraMed serving as the Pharmacy Product Advisor. She is a pharmacist with almost 30 years acute care pharmacy experience. She obtained her Bachelors of Science from the University of Colorado and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science. She also completed an ASHP Advanced Clinical Residency from Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Work experience has included hospital based home infusion therapy and outpatient infusion clinic therapy, home health and hospice care, and acute care pharmacy operational and administrative positions. Prior to joining QuadraMed in 2008, she served for 4 years as the network pharmacy director for 4 hospital regional health network in Pennsylvania. She has extensive experience in applied informatics technologies that facilitate medication safety and patient safety. These integrated medication management solutions include bar coded medication administration systems, computerized prescriber order entry, pharmacy automation such as robotics, medication carousels, and dispensing cabinets as well as the implementation of pharmacy information systems. She brings the end user perspective and a focus on medication safety to QuadraMed s growing health information technology team. Yolanda Vargas, RN, MSN, BSN, Senior Consultant, QuadraMed Yolanda has over sixteen years of hospital, 12 years of homecare and eleven years of vendor experience at QuadraMed. Positions include hospital management and patient education. Homecare experience includes overseeing business operations, reviewing clinical documentation and managing the care of patients in the home. Currently Yolanda implements and supports staffing/productivity methodologies and software; executes consulting projects to meet client needs; and participates as an exhibitor/sales support at national shows. Susan P. Vickery, Sr. Project Manager, QuadraMed Ms. Vickery has been with the Client Services Division of QuadraMed since 1994. Susan has been responsible for project implementations at many of our larger multi campus/multi facility client sites. In addition to her 15 years of project management experience with QuadraMed, she also has over 20 years of experience in healthcare organizations in the Northeast, serving as Manager of Patient Registration and as a Clinical & Financial Systems Analyst for several New York hospital organizations. Minnie White, Senior Business Systems Analyst, QuadraMed Minnie has twenty nine years of experience in the healthcare industry, of which ten years have been at QuadraMed where she has been a support analyst for the Advantage group and currently serves as a Business Systems Analyst, focusing on patient access. Prior to joining QuadraMed, Minnie was the Director of Admissions at a community hospital and previously held various patient access management positions at university affiliated hospitals. Her areas of expertise include nursing leadership, budget development, workload measurement systems, and information system design. She has presented at various conferences and has consultation experience related to management skills, staff education, and system analysis. Dava Jo Zavodnick, Sr. Project Manager, QuadraMed Dava has over twenty years experience successfully managing varied projects. Dava has worked, for over five years, with acute care facilities defining standards for and implementing CPOE and Medication Administration; facilitating an interdisciplinary team to understand and define the needs for implementing BCMA; implementing BCMA in inpatient and emergency departments.
