Question 3 of the Respondent Questionnaire asks us to provide up to 10 new school projects within ESC Regions 10 and 11. If our new school projects are not within those regions, would we be able to state that in a sentence and then include our other new school projects? Or, should that section be left blank if the new schools are not in regions 10 or 11? You can list projects outside of ESC Region 10 & 11 as long as they are identified as such. 2. We are currently providing Specialty Engineering, Land Surveying and Commissioning Services to DISD as a prime consultant for RFQ No. CS #16-006. Does this conflict us out of providing civil engineering services as a subconsultant for CS #17-002? No, there is no conflict being a sub-consultant to an architect, as well as, a prime on our specialty consultant pool. 3. The RFQ states that RFQs for engineering and other professional services were previously procured on a separate RFQ. Does this mean that firms are not to propose a complete project team? No. The statement you are referring to (Section 1.2) is included to clarify that this RFQ is strictly for architectural services. See Attachment A - Agreement, Section 1.0.6. 4. If subcontractors are not to be utilized in this contract, how should firms complete subcontracting M/WBE forms? That is not the case. See Attachment A - Agreement, Section 1.0.8. 5. If the prime architectural firm is a certified MWBE company, will this be able to be counted in the MWBE section as a part of the overall team s MWBE percentage commitment in addition to the MWBE percentage for subconsultants? Or, will only the MWBE sub-consultants be recognized? No. A prime can t self-perform the work and count toward its M/WBE subcontracting goal. Yes, only the M/WBE sub-consultants will be counted toward the M/WBE subcontracting goal. 6. Will an architectural firm be able to submit as a prime while also submitting as a sub-consultant on other architectural prime s team? Yes. 7. I am unsure how to interpret Questionnaire Part 2. 1.
