Major Capital Grants Application Form City You & Your Organisation Welcome to The London Marathon Charitable Trust's online application form for a Major Capital Grant. This application form is for funding requests of between 20,001 and 150,000 towards facility improvement projects. If you are seeking funding of between 5,000 and 20,000, please use our Small Capital Grants application form. To help you complete the online application form we have provided hints and tips in our Major Capital Grants Application Guide, available here, and our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), available here. We have included (i) buttons for some questions, which provide guidance on how to answer the question. Projects must start after you receive a Letter of Offer from The Trust. We expect projects to have started no later than 6 months after the grant is awarded and to be completed within 2 years. Ownership Likely to Change Is the ownership and / or lease arrangement of your facility likely to change in the near future? Any future change will require the award to be transferred to the new party and could be subject to repayment. Outcomes and Beneficiaries Your Impact This section focuses on the outcomes you are aiming to achieve through the project, the people that will benefit and how you will measure success. We support projects which can clearly demonstrate how the proposed facility improvements will help people who are the least active to become regular participants in healthy physical activity, sport and/or play. Please note that should you receive a grant, you will be required to report back on the project's impact on helping you to achieve these outcomes. We are particularly interested in outcomes related to engaging and supporting people who are currently physically inactive to become regular participants in healthy physical activity, sport and/or play. Revenue Funding Please review our Major Capital Grants Application Guide, available by clicking here, which includes a section on completing this important part of the form. You can apply for revenue funding equivalent to a maximum of 10% of your total funding request. The total combined capital and revenue funding request cannot exceed 150,000. The revenue funding must go towards one-off costs associated with activities which are essential to ensuring engagement and support of those who are currently inactive to participate in sport and/or physical activity at the project site. Revenue funding can also be requested for costs associated with effectively monitoring and evaluating the impact of the capital grant. This is an optional revenue funding request and should only be made if you can present a strong case supporting the need for additional support to enhance the impact of the capital project. Revenue grants are awarded at the Trustees' discretion. We will only consider awarding revenue funding after the capital project has been approved for funding. Eligible one off revenue costs include taster sessions, marketing campaigns and monitoring and evaluation. Requested Revenue Amount How much revenue funding are you requesting from LMCT? Your request can be for up to a maximum of 10% of the total capital funding request from LMCT. The total combined capital and revenue funding request cannot exceed 150,000.
