PHI BETA SIGMA FRATERNITY, INC. EASTERN REGION THE MISSION, THE VISION, THE PLAN! For the Office of Vice Director Bro. Leonard O. Lockhart, 11PLM New England State Director

The Promise is Still Good! The vision and the promise that our FOUNDERS made to the communities we serve is still good! Romans 4:20 - He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God.

2006 Eastern Regional Conference Per my concession speech, I ve kept my word to the fraternity continue to work hard as New England State Director, support the current Vice Director and offer myself in 2008. Luke 18:1 that men ought always to pray, and not to faint. Galatians 5:7 Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?

Bylaws description of duties of the Vice Director Shall assist the Regional Director in the performance of his duties and act for the Regional Director in his absence or incapacity to act. In the event of death, removal or resignation of the Regional Director, he shall assume the office of Regional Director.

Reality of the Office of Vice Director Responsible for membership. Sits in the absence of the Regional Director. Works with State and Area Deputy Directors. Responsible for MIP certification procedures. In recent history, poor communication between Regional Director and Vice Director Waiting post to be next Regional Director

Vision for the Office of Vice Director Implementing the will of the brotherhood; not a select few. Work closely with the Regional Director and be prepared to act in his absence. Work closely with all Regional Board members. Provide constant training & guidance for the State & Area Deputy Directors. Work very closely with the Associate Director. Hold self & officers accountable on behalf of the brotherhood. Hold all State & Area Deputy Directors accountable. Hold brothers and chapters responsible for their constitutional duties. Work closely with the International First Vice President.

Change The hardest part of the change process is not dealing with external issues but rather our internal limiting beliefs. These beliefs affect the way we think about our productivity, and they dictate our attitudes and approaches, and in some cases, they can persuade us we are going to fail before we even start! What makes them so hard to change is twofold. Number one, they are unconscious: we literally don t know we have these beliefs, and yet they drive our lives and impact how successful we are at creating and sustaining positive change. Number two is we believe they are the truth, that they are real, which is why we call them beliefs. Sally McGhee

Solution Did you know beliefs can transform spontaneously with any conscious effort on our part? For this to occur, new ideas that make us question our old beliefs must be introduced into our experience. When something influences the nature of our beliefs, casting doubt, it begins to break down old beliefs and creates a place for a new belief to be introduced and to blossom. By understanding this process, you can start to alter your own limiting beliefs. Sally McGhee
