TENNIS

THE TENNIS RACKET Summer is in full swing and so are things on the tennis courts. We have our Summer Jr. Program pumping on all cylinders. We have several events and the Doubles Club Championships scheduled for August. These are just a sampling of the great things that are happening in Tennis here at BCC! We have hired a New Assistant Pro, Susie Brown. If you have not had a chance to meet her, stop by and introduce yourself, or you may email her at sbrown@ballantyneclub.com to set up a lesson or a clinic for your group. Ladies Team Tennis is just around the corner, so if you are new to weekday tennis or haven t played before, please contact Jason by August 7th to get on a team for the fall season! A reminder to put all names in your court bookings when you play that way everyone in your group gets credit for playing for our Tennis Rewards program the more entries you get the more chances you have of winning some great prizes each 2 week period. Watch the videos to see if your name was picked! Ladies, look for an email from Coach Jason on when the next upcoming Tennis Lunch and Learn will be and also Thirsty Thursday Margarita Nights, a great way to unwind at the end of a hot day! Jr. Team Tennis will be starting up soon. Please contact Coach Sean at ssmith@ballantyneclub.com to get signed up for the fall season. The entry deadline will be August 20th. We are very blessed to be the ONLY Club in the whole southern USA that gets their clay courts resurfaced 3 times per year. We will be getting them resurfaced for the 3rd time August 13th-16th and we appreciate your patience during that time. We look forward to seeing you on the courts, and if you have any Tennis needs do not hesitate to come and see us! Get IN on the action, and OUT on the courts, Jason, Sean, and Susie
