The student s work includes the assigned learning activities that are necessary for meeting the course outcomes. Grades will be assigned according to the scale range approved by the Department of Nursing. A = 90 100% C = 70 79% B = 80 89% D = 60 69% U = 59% or below A summative grade on tests of 70% or higher is required to pass the course. Students must achieve a grade of C or better in all nursing courses to progress in the UNS program. (See UNS Student Handbook, current edition) Possible Teaching Strategies: 1. 4. Late papers and assignments: 5% of the possible points for the assignment may be deducted for each day an assignment is late. Papers and other assignments will be considered on time if delivered to my office before I leave for the day, on the day the assignment is due. 5. Class attendance is expected. 6. No Incompletes will be given. 7. Unless otherwise noted, written assignments are to be typed following APA (5 th ed.) style guidelines. For purposes of saving paper, the reference list may be single space.
