The Rutland Region Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the Google Maps Street View photography team to bring the popular Street View technology inside our local business establishments to showcase our area businesses in Google Maps and Google Search! We are so excited to bring this amazing new Google exposure opportunity for our members! Our Google Street View photographer will be in the Rutland Region on February 17th to bring the 360 "Street View" technology inside our Chamber Member businesses that wish to participate. If you would like to learn how your business can be included, fill out and submit this online form and our "Google Guy" will call you to discuss the program details. The ribbon is cut by Darren Childs, Board President and Kelly Giancola, Executive Director at the Rutland Region Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting Celebration for the new location of the Rutland Community Cupboard, 65 River St. in Rutland. The Rutland Community Cupboard serves individuals and families who are in need of food, all food items are free, thanks to the generosity of community donations. Their volunteers understand that it may be a difficult time in a family s life and make every effort to create an atmosphere that is welcoming, comfortable and confidential. The Rutland Community Cupboard works closely with the Vermont Food Bank and the VT Fresh program to offer fresh fruits and vegetables. The Rutland Community Cupboard offers monthly cooking demonstrations with samples and recipes, as well as, fresh bread and frozen meat when available.
