Challenges Convincing County Governor to make climate change a priority(in line with NCCAP, Climate Change Act 2016). Limited access to climate finance related information and literature amongst others. Limited knowledge on hard terminologies defining key climate finance structures /modalities Zero Financial support from County and Governments.
Key message to all leaders... As responsible leaders, we cannot afford the luxury of not preparing. We know now that some impacts are inevitable and we know that these impacts will affect many of the essential services and functions that the county government of Kwale is expected to provide. We must prepare for the impacts underway while we work to avoid even worse future climate effects.
