Communication Lab example HALLUCINATING CLIENT SITUATION: Part 1 Thirty four year old male, Cedrick Deeks, has been diagnosed with chronic schizophrenia and is readmitted to the Crisis Stabilization Unit. The nurse is meeting him for the first time. Cedrick has been hearing voices. These voices keep telling him that world destruction is about to begin and that Cedrick is to blame for bringing this on due to his failure to get anywhere in life or become anything. Part 2 Later in the day, Cedrick has grown scared and agitated. Avoiding eye contact, tells nurse don t look me in the eyes tells the voices I don t want to do that, she's a nice person.
