Page 3 HIGHLIGHTS OF RECENT PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE George Mason University Teach across the curriculum: undergraduate and graduate courses Conceptualized, developed, and shepherded the revision of 2 courses (NURS 714 and NURS 724) through the curriculum development process for the graduate program 2017: Member of the BSN-VCCS Alliance. This group includes members (faculty and administrators) from community colleges and universities within the state of Virginia. The goal of the Alliance is to improve the student experience as they transition from the AAS degree earned at the community college to the BSN degree earned at a 4-year university. 2017: Coordinator of RN-BSN programs to include the traditional RN-BSN program, the Co- Enrollment Program, and the Military Veterans Program. 2016: Instrumental in bringing Objective Structured Clinical Evaluations to the classroom in NURS 724. In these simulated patient visits using undergraduate nursing students as standardized patients, graduate nursing students are able to cement their assessment skills, gain confidence in managing patient visits, and get experience in developing differential diagnoses.
