Actions Taken to Mitigate Gaps: 1. Staffing for medical surge and disaster response FY-2015-2016 - Included provision for partners to provide clinical and non-clinical staffing assistance during emergent or planned events FY2015-2016 Purchased quick assembly tents to support medical surge events at a trauma center allowing hospital to establish an outside treatment area for either mass casualty incidents, disease outbreaks, or biological events FY2015-2016 Provided Active By-Stander training to Medical Reserve Corps members and provided these volunteers with limited PPE 2. Communication among health care partners during response and recovery FY2014-2015 supported following; o Developed Coalition website to serve as a communications hub o Provided portable radios to a Manatee Long Term Care facility to communicate with local Emergency Operations Center o Provided 800mHz radios to non-acute hospitals in Pinellas to communicate with the local Emergency Operations Center FY2015-2016 supported following; o Hillsborough additional radios for a hospital (x2 hospitals) o Hillsborough replace satellite phones at hospital (x2 hospitals) o Hillsborough - purchased computer tablet to aid hospital in mass casualty patient tracking o Manatee purchased portable radios for behavioral health center 3.
