CHAS 3 rd successful year fully compliant with CHAS after assessment passed in August 5. INTRODUCTION With great anticipation we are proud to produce our first Company Newsletter which we hope will give you an insight into how DLC have preformed as a company in general and what our goals are moving forward. DIRECTORS COLUMN With the close of DLC s 6th financial year in June, the results have shown that we have strengthened the business and increased our client base. This is a great effort company wide and puts us in a stable position moving into year seven. Tata Maintenance and Project Contract works have remained a key part of the business growth by providing a strong platform from which to build from. Our Company profile in terms of client base in South and Wales has grown considerably over the past year and we have successfully completed Sub contractor projects for some National companies such as: - OUR CLIENTS Dean Griffiths Reward & Recognition We have also completed large and small Projects as the Principle Contractor. This diverse list of repeat Client business together with our increasing market awareness in our targeted areas should ensure growth moving into years seven and eight.

To ensure this, we have committed to continuing training and personnel development of all our employees over the forthcoming year. Having just also renewed our Investors in People accreditation, we will be actively engaging our workforce for professional development as part of our commitment to the scheme. This includes new apprentices, vocational NVQ s and professional CPD events to ensure our entire workforce is moving forward together. DLC will be committing to plant and equipment reinvestment over the next two years to ensure that we use the best means possible to complete our projects on time and to budget. Having that said, we need to make vast improvements on how existing plant and equipment is used, serviced and maintained as we have seen a large increase in repairs, theft etc due to neglect over the past year. This has a direct effect on our Insurance premiums and maintenance costs, all of which reduces or competitive edge in the market place. Year seven will see an improved re-structure in our plant / vehicle strategy. New vehicles purchased As part of our appreciation for all your efforts over the past year, we are organizing a number of events over the forthcoming months. These events such as Bowling, Paintballing and Go-carting are all designed to reward you for the hard work of last year and bring us closer as a company moving into next year. Daniel Thomas will be organizing these events shortly and we would be delighted if you are able to attend. Over the past year DLC has been very active in the local communities supporting local Charities, sporting teams and good causes. This will be captured in our DLC in the Community section and we would love to hear of any individual employees who have gone, or are planning to go that extra mile for a good cause. We have a social responsibility for the communities that we live and work in and would like to champion our employees that are special enough to help. Myself & Carl would like to thank each and every one for your hard work and look forward to our continuing success in the future. Alex Williams
