Letter from the Leadership Dear Friend Thank you for making 2014 a huge success! Your investment allowed us to provide ACC students, staff and programs with over a quarter of a million dollars in support in 2014! ACC Foundation scholarship recipients proved to be a wise investment with their average GPA a 3.50. These students are working hard to complete their degrees or transfer to a four year institution. Many of them could not have done so well without you. Thank you. As we gear up to celebrate ACC s 50th Anniversary in 2015, let us remind you of why the ACC Foundation was established shortly after the College was formed: Our Goals (Why We Exist): To provide opportunities for individuals to improve their lives through education To directly impact the economic development of our community by providing an educated workforce Our Funding Priorities (What We Are Doing): To increase our role in funding scholarships for students To support the financial viability of ACC Your Investment (How We Can Do It): Provides Scholarships to ACC students Provides Faculty and Staff Mini Grants for Innovation Funds New Technology and Equipment Provides Programs and Tutoring It takes a community to empower a new generation of learners; to build a workforce and to strengthen our economy. When you invest in the ACC Foundation, you are MOVING MOUNTAINS. Again, thank you.
