AT THE ORIGINS OF ANTICAFE, SOME PEOPLE WHO WANTED TO CHANGE (A BIT) THE WORLD 2013 2014 2015 2018 +50 Leonid Goncharov, young entrepreneur, realizes that traditional cafés are unsuited to today s needs of many people: work, exchange, meet other people or simply spend quality time. The first anticafé is opened in 2013 in Paris. Within months, a big community of freelance, entrepreneurs, students, dreamers and creative people is born. Other 3 anticafe are open in Paris and in Rome. As there is high market demand, anticafe launches his franchise system in 2015 with the objective to open 50 places by 2018! An innovative concept : already tested in 4 pilots in different neighborhoods, the model has proven to be viable from an economic and commercial standpoint. Yes, an Anticafe! But where to install it? We would like to see AntiCafés everywhere :). The location is of course a key to success. We favor at first the opening of anticafe in large cities in France and in Europe ( > 250,000 habitants ) in dense metropolitan areas of the city center that are well connected with public transportation so that we can reach a wide audience. Generally speaking, spaces should be around 80 and 120m2. We have specific guidelines for you to help you get the right location for an anticafe!
