With an amazing array of speakers and estimated 13 continuing education credits hours, it promises not to disappoint. We are honored to welcome Richard H. Bernstein, Esq. as our Keynote Speaker. As a dedicated advocate for disabled rights, Richard provides a voice to those individuals who otherwise would be forced to be silent. He will share with us his expertise on how to be a better advocate for wards, reaching potentials, breaking down stereotypes, the importance of integration/accessibility and placing emphasis on the quality of life. Along with education, the conference provides opportunity for our hard working members to let their hair down. Located at the wonderful MotorCity Casino and Hotel in Detroit, there are plenty of opportunities to relax and recharge. MGA scheduled events include the Welcome Mixer on Wednesday evening, 25th Anniversary celebration dinner on Thursday evening and the optional Tiger s game on Friday evening. Registration Information Conference Registration: Please register by May 30th. Complete the conference registration form and return as indicated. Each attendee must submit a complete form. Fees include tuition, educational materials, snacks, and meals. Refunds and Cancellations: Requests for refunds will be honored when received by May 30th. No refunds will be made after May 30th. There is a $30.00 administration fee for each refund; substitutions may be made at any time. We do accept walk-in registrations. Please note that there will be NO refunds for Tiger s tickets. No exceptions can be made as tickets are pre-paid. Continuing Education: MGA will provide a signed certificate of attendance for approximately 13+ clock hours for each participant. Certificates will be signed by MGA staff after each session and will be collected prior to the Judges Corner session on Friday, June 13th to be recorded. Please note that if you must leave the conference prior to that session, you must have your certificate recorded by the Administrator. Certificates that are not recorded with MGA cannot be validated. Dietary Requirements: MGA makes every effort to provide meals that accommodate the dietary requirements of our members.
