This program is instructional and will teach participants the skills to play volleyball through drills and scrimmage games. Each session is limited to 15 participants. Spring Break Track Camp Ages: 1 st through 6 th Grade Fee: $10.00 per participant Days: Monday through Friday Dates: April 6 th April 10 th Times: 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm Site: Rustburg Middle School Track Deadline to Register: Friday, March 27, 2015 The Campbell County Recreation Department will hold an Elementary School Age Track Camp over Spring Break. Participants must wear running shorts, t-shirts and running shoes- no open toe shoes or bare feet. Participants will learn proper running form, basic techniques of the different track events (long jump, triple jump, high jump, shot put, discus, hurdles, 50 and 200 meters and relays). Participants must register at the Recreation Office. Men s and Co-Ed Spring Softball Registration Leagues offered: Men s Church, Men s Independent and Co-Ed Fees: $375.00 per team* ($100.00 refundable forfeit fee) *Fee includes balls provided by Campbell County. Registration Dates: February 23, 2015-March 27, 2015* *Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. League Team Limits: Independent League-6 teams; Church League 6 teams; Co-Ed League 6 teams Play Days: Church League-Mondays; Co-Ed League-Tuesdays Independent League-Thursdays Start Dates: Church League-Monday, April 13, 2015 Co-Ed League-Tuesday, April 14, 2015 Independent League-Thursday, April 16, 2015 To qualify in this league, at least one half of the team members must live or work in Campbell County. League rosters must accompany league fees. Elementary Track Meet Date: May 28, 2015 Time: 6:00 p.m. Location: Rustburg High School Cost: $5.00 per participant Deadline to Register: Friday May 22, 2015 Events include: Standing Long Jump, 100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters, 800 meters, 4 x 100 Relay Ages Groups (Boys and Girls): 1 st and 2 nd Grade 3 rd and 4 th Grade, 5 th and 6 th Grade Participants doing the relay must be in the same age division and register as a 4 person team. Batons will be provided. Participants can only do 2 events and must choose events when registering. Registrations must be received by April 3. Campbell County Recreation Department is pleased to sponsor the Yellow Branch Challenger League. The team plays each Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Yellow Branch Elementary School. This program inspires individual athletic strength encouraging players to develop friendships in a family oriented setting. This league is a volunteer program specifically for individuals ages 6 and up, who are intellectually and/or physically challenged.
