Choosing Your College Affiliation What does affiliation mean? Each undergraduate student is affiliated with a college. By affiliating, you join a smaller community by taking part of in the college tradition, events and access to services. How do you choose which College is right for you? How Your College Supports You While Living Off- Campus Consider your College Office as a one-stop shop for questions, accessing resources such as locker rentals, academic support, connecting with peers in your College community through volunteer opportunities, Offcampus and O-week events. College Office Staff will connect with you via your Trent email or phone this is an opportunity to ask questions, etc. College newsletters are also sent out once a week with information on events, and resources (check your Trent email!) Get involved! There are off-campus representative and first year representative spaces available on all College Cabinets in September, consider running for election into student government to stay active in the community! Making the Most of Living Off-Campus: Parking Red and Green lots on campus Red = Closer to buildings, $381.10 for the academic year (Sept April) Green = A 10-15 minute walk, $190.55 for the academic year (Sept April) Permits were available for reserve starting August 1 st 2017, but you can purchase at any time Already bought one? Pick it up any time after August 25 th in Blackburn Hall trentu.ca/parking 20

Making the Most of Living Off-Campus: Downtown Living Downtown Peterborough is an amazing place and well worth exploring Reasons why you will LOVE downtown: Quick commute to supermarkets (Freshco, NoFrills & Wednesday Farmers Market) Great social scene ( the junction, the social, the spill) More café s and restaurants than OSAP can pay for Accommodating & punctual transit system Lively student communities 21 21
