Applications are now being accepted for the 2018 Chadron State College Education Association (CSCEA) Scholarship. This scholarship, funded by CSCEA faculty members, provides two $500 scholarships for the Spring 2018 semester. Students, who have complete a minimum of 30 hours at the time of application, are eligible to receive this distinguished scholarship. Eligibility Requirements: 1. The applicant must have completed a minimum of 30 semester credit hours at the time of application. 2. The applicant must be a full-time, undergraduate student during the Spring 2018 semester. 3. The scholarship is available only to students working on their first undergraduate degree. 4. The applicant may not have previously received a CSCEA scholarship. Guidelines for Application: 1. The applicant must complete an application form. The forms are available in the Start Office in Crites Hall or online at: https://www.csc.edu/documents/start/scholarships/cscea%20scholaraship%20app.pdf 2. The applicant will submit a word-processed letter of application describing their personal and career goals and explaining how he/she would benefit from receiving this scholarship. 3. Two CSC faculty members must complete recommendation forms on the applicant s behalf. These two faculty members should be individuals who have instructed the applicant in a course. 4. The applicant must supply a copy of all transcripts/institutional coursework (does not need to be official). 5. The applicant must provide a list of all scholarships and financial assistance he/she has received for the 2017-2018 academic year. 6. Priority will be awarded to students based on academic merit and/or financial need. 7. The application form, transcripts/institutional coursework, and letter of application must be returned to Dr. Tracy Nobiling in Admin 302 by 4:00 p.m., Friday, December 1, 2017.
