Southern Tier Agricultural Industrial Enhancement Grant we

submitted 65 application to the state on March 15 th. We have asked for more money than was allotted to us, so we will see what happens with that. Rob and I have had some discussions on what we are planning next. The contracts will be between the landowner and the District, so we really don t know what we will be responsible for going forward. E. District Field Technician Cassie Pinkoski 1. Program Updates I have some actual numbers for the Southern Tier Grant, there was 5.3 million in state funds requested for a total of 8.5 million in total project cost. The farms will be providing 3 million of their own funds. I am also working on permits for our 2016 projects and Dave and I think we will have 16 projects on streambanks with WQIP. 2. We have done very well with donations this year. 3. Trees & Shrubs We have received around 260 orders at this time. We still have a lot of demand for fruit trees this year.
