General Information Pre Conference Jerusalem Tour This program will provide conference attendees with the chance to enjoy a private full day tour of Jerusalem, combining elements from the following tours: The Three Religions of Jerusalem Since the days of King Davis, Jerusalem has been a religious and spiritual center unlike any other. This tour will reveal why the city remains so important to the three monotheistic religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Walking through the Old City alleys, you will sense day to day life, as well as the heritage left us from antiquity. Via Dolorosa The Via Dolorosa, Latin for Way of Suffering, marks the route Christ walked carrying his cross on the way to his crucifixion, and it includes 14 stations along the path. The tour will finish at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. The road itself is a lively street in the old city of Jerusalem dating back to the Roman city Aelia Capitolina. Like the rest of the Holy City, every generation left its mark on the Via Dolorosa, so as you walk this special street, you will weave in and out of Christ s story. This is an emblematic experience of Jerusalem! Business as Unusual Seminar Beginning in 2002, the In2:InThinking Network (www.in2in.org) has hosted an annual 5-day Forum in Los Angeles which is targeted at leaders at all levels of organizations, with a focus on revisiting the foundations of teamwork, the connecting force of all organizations. A reliance on working together is fundamental to both solving problems and preventing problems, and the ability to do more with less, in all organizations, whether public or private, for-profit or non-profit. Presented through an exciting partnership between PCMI and the In2:InThinking Network, this seminar reveals blind spots to teamwork that form the foundation of Business as Usual and presents fundamental concepts and strategies for shifting organizations to the incomparable status of Unusual. Seminar Objective: The objective of this seminar is to demonstrate and explore the unlimited potential of Business as Unusual, with a very practical focus on how we think, learn, and work together. Who should attend? Anyone who is concerned about improving the effectiveness of individuals and organizations will gain from this workshop and leave with new and deeper knowledge, and new connections to others. Banquet and Group Networking Dinners Attendees will join together for the annual grand banquet on Monday evening and for a group networking dinner on Tuesday night. The restaurants have not been confirmed, but will be within walking distance of the hotel. - 5 -
