BluCurrent Credit Union 2018 Jim Shane Scholarship Application In support of educational advancement of our young members, BluCurrent Credit Union will award three nonrenewable $2000 Jim Shane scholarships for 2018. Application Requirements In order to apply for the scholarship, applicants must be a graduating high school senior and a member of BluCurrent as of February 5, 2018. BluCurrent members who are graduating seniors and wish to be considered for the scholarship must complete the scholarship application form. The following documents must be completed and accompany the application: A copy of the student s transcript A teacher recommendation A sponsor, coach or employer recommendation A statement from the student In order for the application to be considered, all of the above documents must be included and the application must be postmarked no later than March 30, 2018. Your application must be mailed to: BluCurrent Credit Union Attn: Scholarship Committee 1770 W. Sunset Street Springfield, MO 65807 *Please Note: Applications will only be accepted through the mail. You will receive a confirmation email within 3-5 business days of receipt. Award Selection The three scholarship recipients will be chosen by the BluCurrent Scholarship Committee. Scholarship recipients will be notified on or before April 20, and will be invited to be recognized at our April 23rd Annual Meeting. Upon acceptance of admission and attendance into the selected college, university, vocational school, BluCurrent will issue a one-time check in the amount of $2000 directly to the school unless other arrangements are made.
