We are an established team who provide a genuine alternative to inpatient admission. The service is currently evolving in line with the National Service Framework for mental illness, Mental Health Measures and the associated AQF targets attached to Crisis Resolution/Home Treatment Teams. The HTT provides an urgent assessment and intensive home treatment service for those at risk of in-patient admission, and will also facilitate the early discharge of those admitted. We aim to utilise the strengths of the individual, and work with them and their social network to overcome the presenting difficulties. You will need to be a team player, but have the confidence and experience to work autonomously under challenging conditions. You will work with the Team to make positive risk management decisions for those in acute distress and need. You will plan and provide care in innovative ways, and support colleagues both within the Team and externally.
