Summons To Attend the 148th Annual Communication All Grand Lodge Officers, Past Grand Masters, Worshipful Masters, Wardens, and Past Masters of Constituent Lodges of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Idaho, who are presently in good standing, are hereby summoned to attend the 148 th Annual Communication to be held at the Red Lion Hotel in Pocatello, Idaho, on September 17, 18, and 19, 2015. Every Brother entitled to vote at the Annual Communication shall be in attendance, with illness or other just reason which puts attendance beyond the length of his cable tow alone excusing him. Worshipful Masters and Wardens unable to attend will appoint qualified Proxies to attend and vote in their stead. All members must show their current 2015 Dues Card, and if attending as a Proxy, they must present a properly signed proxy card. Each chartered and duly constituted lodge shall be represented in Grand Lodge. All Master Masons, in good standing, in a recognized Lodge, are cordially invited to attend. G. To all Idaho Masons and their Guests: The 148th Annual Communication of the Grand Lodge Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Idaho will be held on September 17, 18, and 19 of 2015 Red Lion Hotel Pocatello, 1555 Pocatello Creek Road, Pocatello, Id. Your Grand Lodge committee has a block of rooms at the Red Lion Hotel at $84.95 per night + State & Local Tax. Please make your reservation as soon as you can, to make sure that you get a room at this cost. The cutoff date to retain this price is August 16, 2015. For reservations, call the toll free phone number is listed on the attached Hotel Registration Information sheet; identify you want rooms reserved for the Masonic Grand Lodge of Idaho to get these rates. If you register on or before August 31 st, the registration cost is $25.00 after that it jumps to $50.00 so register early and save some money. Also, the cost of registering for the 148 th Annual Communication does not include the Lunches or Banquet. Those are to be separate from the registration cost. This has been a requested from the brothers in the past so we will honor that request. When you sign up for the Lunches and Banquet include yourself and your guest. If you need special dietary requirement please notify us in advance, the hotel can furnish special meals. There will be online - registration - a link will be provided on the Grand Lodge website shortly! There will be NOT be picnic this year on Wed. Night. The Deputy Grand Master, John E. Warner will be hosting a reception after the installation of officers on Friday Night before the Grand Lodge Banquet. Registration will be at the Red Lion Hotel, Atrium by room 151, at the following times: Wednesday (16th) 02:00 pm to 04:00 pm Thursday (17th) 07:15 am until Grand Lodge opens and during Lunch Friday (18th) 07:15 am to 09:00 am A current dues card must be presented at registration. EVERY IDAHO MASON HAS THE RIGHT TO BE REPRESENTED AT THE 148 th ANNUAL IDAHO GRAND LODGE COMMUNICATION MAKE CERTAIN THAT YOUR LODGE IS REPRESENTED SEPTEMBER 17, 18, 19, 2015--- Pocatello, Idaho Each Chartered Lodge represented is entitled to three (3) votes, but no one shall be allowed to represent more than one Lodge. Each principal officer is represented by one vote, one for the Worshipful Master, one for the Senior Warden and one for the Junior Warden. (A Past Master who is present is entitled to one (1) vote as a Past Master) The Worshipful Master and the Wardens may represent your Lodge without a Proxy. If one of the principal officer cannot be not present, he can assign a Proxy to represent his vote. Any Master Masons, in good standing in that lodge, may be a Proxy for a principal lodge officer, with a properly signed Proxy. See Section 106 of the Idaho Masonic Code and Digest for further information IF YOUR LODGE IS TO BE REPRESENTED BY PROXY, BE SURE TO COMPLETE THE FORMS.
