YEP The Voice of Future Leaders in Property Young Entrepreneurs in Property YEP is a networking organisation for young professionals that provides a career developing platform and a voice for the future leaders of the property industry. Since 2002, YEP has successfully established itself as the number one forum for young entrepreneurs and enables rising stars in the industry to network, learn and exchange ideas. It s achieved that by creating a fantastic balance of events that appeal to young professionals, blended with high profile industry speakers and supported by a diverse range of entrepreneurs and leaders from different industries and disciplines. Along with an assortment of monthly events that young professionals want to attend, their employers gain from their rising stars being part of a forum that helps provide a programme of continuous professional development in an environment where they connect and improve their networking skills with new industry contacts. With over 2,500 members, YEP boasts a broad spectrum of professionals spanning the property industry including; Property Managers and Developers, Occupiers, Construction Companies, Surveyors, Architects, Interior Designers, Tax Advisors, Developers, Lawyers, Accountants, Engineers, Contractors and other supporting consultants. YEP Manchester was founded in July 2016. As a significant economic powerhouse in the northwest of England, YEP Global needed to have a presence. The Manchester committee is made up of several organisations including Quinta Group, Solar Properties, Indigo Planning, Pinsent Masons, Turner & Townsend, ICENI Projects, Arcadis LLP, Faithful + Gould, Sequre, Matthews & Goodman, Williamson & Croft, Recom Solutions and Pierre Angulaire. Located at the heart of a metropolitan area supporting a population of 2.55 million people, Manchester is the world s first industrialised city and a beta global city. The employment sectors driving the economy include digital and creative, financial, legal and business services, biotechnology, advanced manufacturing, tourism and real estate. Manchester has seen an incredible transformation over the past 20 years with major new buildings including the Beetham Tower, The Triangle, The Printworks and the Manchester Arndale, not to mention Salford Quays now home to the BBC. And growth continues apace, with new planned and active developments including First Street, Boddingtons Brewery, Gay Village and River Street skyscraper. These developments aim to further cement Manchester s position as a major centre for growth with a vibrant and active property market perfect territory for YEP. YEP Event Calendar YEP Event Series Our annual event series includes: Large events held seasonally throughout the year, typically attracting 100-300 people. Previous events have included YEP Summer BBQ and YEP Christmas Party. Medium size events of 50-100 people throughout the year designed to maximise network building in an informal, social environment including YEP Speed Networking. Small-medium size events held during the warmer months of the year in particular. Previous events have included Rugby Sevens, YEP Polo and YEP Golf Day. Medium size educational events of 50-100 people throughout the year including YEP Breakfast Seminars, YEP Panel Debates and YEP Training and CPD.
