O6 MM 2015 EUROPEAN COMMISSION DIRECTORATE-GERAL JUSTICE AND CONSUMERS йгъо Directorate C: Fundamental rights and Union citizenship The Director AWARD DECISION for action grants to raise the awareness of children with regard to their rights in judicial proceedings 2014 Pilot Project Call for proposals: JUST/2014/JPPI/AG/CHIL Having regard to Regulation (EU, Euratom) No 966/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2012 on the financial rules applicable to the general budget of the Union and repealing Council Regulation (EC, Euratom) No 1605/2002 (hereinafter referred to as the 'Financial Regulation') \ and in particular Article 133 thereof, Having regard to Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1268/2012 of 29 October 2012 on the rules of application of Regulation (EU, Euratom) No 966/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the financial rules applicable to the general budget of the Union (hereinafter referred to as the "Rules of Application') 2, and in particular Article 204 thereof, Whereas: (1) The Commission adopted on 10 September 2014 the Commission Financing Decision for 2014 for the pilot projects, "Knowledge platform for professionals dealing with female genital mutilation", "Capacity building for Roma civil society and strengthening their involvement in the monitoring of National Roma Integration Strategies" and "Raising awareness of children to be aware of their rights in judicial procedures" under C(2014) 6309. (2) A call for proposals has been published on the internet site of the Directorate-General for Justice under the reference JUST/2014/JPPI/AG/CHIL, which establishes the objectives and priority and the admissibility, eligibility, exclusion, selection and award criteria; (3) An Evaluation Committee was appointed pursuant to Article 204(1) of the Rules of Application in order to evaluate the applications submitted under the above mentioned call for proposals and to identify the proposals which may receive funding; (4) The Evaluation Committee established an Evaluation Report which contains all the information required under Article 204(4) of the Rules of Application. I hereby decide: Article 1 Selected proposals The proposals listed in Annex 1 to this Decision shall be awarded a grant under the pilot project "Raising awareness of children to be aware of their rights injudicial procedures" - call for proposals JUST/2014/JPPI/AG/CHIL, up to the maximum amount indicated in that Annex. The overall amount of financing provided is 646.968,77 EUR. Article 2 Reserve List The proposal listed in Annex 2 to this Decision shall be awarded a grant under the pilot project "Raising awareness of children to be aware of their rights injudicial procedures" - call for proposals JUST/2014/JPPI/AG/CHIL, up to the maximum amount indicated in that Annex, subject to the availability of funds.
