Youth One-Stop Catapult Learning Center 3416 Prospect Avenue Cleveland, Ohio 44115 (216) 881-4908 Youth One Stop is a collaborative effort between Catapult Learning Center, Berea Children s Home and Family Services, and Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry Youth Employment Program. The You re Hired Youth One Stop provides a holistic approach to academics and employment preparation to Out-Of-School youth. Experienced and well connected Job Developers support job placement following programming which specializes in serving each client as an individual. Clients leave with well rounded resumes that include a job shadowing experience and Nationally recognized Customer Service Credential. Support immediately following job placement is critical. In addition to GED preparation, Youth One Stop works to remediate academic skills that are critical for job placement, retention and advancement. The Youth One Stop works collaboratively with Life Skills Center for youth desiring a High School Diploma. Staff will support clients successful efforts in obtaining funding for credentials, including Pell Grant (FAFSA). In collaboration with Towards Employment our STNA training program provides 19-21 year olds with: Orientation and Introduction to Healthcare Careers Academic and career assessments Job readiness training/ job search and placement assistance Case management Literacy enhancement One-on-one counseling along with support services to aid them toward selfsufficiency. Nationally recognized State Tested Nurse Assistant Certification/Credential. As an official STNA Testing Site, the classroom contains an eight patient bed lab and practice setting, instructor-guided skills training and clinical experiences that prepare the student to provide hospital, nursing home or home health care.

The program includes soft skills for well paying manufacturing jobs or more advanced training. The purpose of the program is to give out-of-school youth a jump start on a path that leads to life long learning and valuable job readiness training.
