Welcome Dear members, Together, we took the decision to renew EN s membership model for 2015. The new approach attracted twenty member organisations in 2016 representing around 3350 leaders and entrepreneurs across twelve European countries the power of networks. The Euclid social enterprise network and the Euclid leadership network created two specific programmes in which members shared knowledge and experience with each other and gained insights into EU policy & funding. Last summer, we produced a position paper to present to EU policy-makers which outlines where EU policy and funding can foster social enterprise and social investment. And we captured the key thoughts on current leadership challenges for civil society in a slideshow. We closed 2015 with the EU project-build workshop, at which members and guest participants gained expert input on upcoming Horizon 2020 and Erasmus Plus calls. We launched 2016 with the Euclid Summit 2016, whose theme is Power to drive the positive change. It took place in Zagreb on 24-26 February 2016. With our members and other experts, we captured knowhow trends and future skills for social entrepreneurs and civil society leaders. We have planned a new events programme for 2016 both online and face-to-face to strengthen members knowhow through new European projects and peer learning. We look forward to welcoming you to our events in Brussels, Paris, London and other destinations to follow. Yours sincerely, Stephen J.
