Summary The project : Stop HATE Online was born from the need to individuate and explore new strategies in order to stem discrimination and violence phenomena which often take place on internet and social networks. We decided to promote this proposal because today about 80% of young people have free access to internet and social networks, and no one ever made any serious effort to educate us about the wise use of these new technologies and communication tools. The violence and discrimination are very present reality in our schools and in our universities, and for this reason, we want to learn new skills in order to stem and prevent these phenomena. Through non-formal education and focus on the most important aspects of violence and discrimination, we want to develop a better use of internet and improve our experience in the use of social networks. We will have different focuses on sexual and religious discrimination and on cyberbullying events thanks to the collaboration of the Postal Police who will explain how the police intervene to prevent and kerb these phenomena. During the exchange will be involved 36 participants from program countries each national group will be accompanied by a group leader. The target age that we have identified will be 18-25 years. At the end of the process, we will be more aware of the risks that exist online and we will know how to improve the use of internet we do. We will also have the opportunity to engage our peers trying to raise awareness about the theme of the project. All together we have decided to support the campaign of the CoE "No Hate Speech Movement" and through the implementation of a public event of diffusion of the campaign we The exchange aims will be: - discuss the phenomena of violence and discrimination and how they can be stemmed and torn; - exchange good practices and find common strategies to raise awareness among our peers about the phenomena of deviance on internet; - Examples of good European practices (eg. No Hate Speech Movement) and their spread on the local reality through promotion campaigns; - improve our personal approach to the world of internet and social networks to understand how the violence and discrimination can be a real risk in everyday life; - Learn how to recognise situations of risk, learn to manage and understand how to break down the differences (gender, social, religious, etc.) In order to kerb the phenomena of violence and discrimination online;
