About B4B Challenge B4B Challenge is a contest, organized by the B4B Limited - a social enterprise, that aims to promote the development of a healthy and sustainable ecosystem for Big Data and AI innovation in Hong Kong and to match talents and enterprises with an intensive accelerator program. The objective of B4B Challenge is to provide a platform that connects Big Data and AI demand innovative information solutions from different domains, and supply talents in Hong Kong as well as to transform Hong Kong into a regional hub of digital innovations in Asia.

Before joining Alibaba, he was the Chief Product Officer of DHgate which is a cross border ecommerce platform in China. Prior to that Mr. Chia was also working for ebay, MSN, PCCW and HSBC. Other responsibilities: 1) Vice Chairman, Big Data Branch, China Information Industry Association; 2) Deputy Director, Expert Committee of China Computer Federation; 3) Education Steering Committee (for big data projects), Tsinghua University; 4) Adjunct professor, School of Management, Zhejiang University. 4

Steering Committee Members of B4B Limited Francois Lee CEO & Founding Partner, Innobator Daniel Yuen Big Data Evangelist, B4B Limited Former Research Director of Gartner Francois is a sales & marketing expert with over 25 years track record in entrepreneurship and innovation. In 2003, he built his corporate consultancy business serving international clients. In 2015, he founded Innobator in Hong Kong and Shanghai to provide incubation for startups and young entrepreneurs targeting Mainland China market. Francois joined Travelzen as corporate advisor in 2009 and built up a strong travel agents network across China with back-office infrastructure support within 24 months. In 2012, he established Touchbase Travel Logistics to actualize his Online to On Ground (O2O) platform bridging the gap between online automated system and traditional travel logistics services. Daniel has more than 29 years of experience in information technology. In 2011, he joined Gartner as Research Director covering the global agenda of Business Analytics and Big Data and specialized in offering advices to C- suites Officers, IT functions and analytics leaders to optimize business return, avoid risk and create the visible line of sights between technology investments to business outcomes. Before joining Gartner, Daniel was the Senior Project Manager focusing on implementing Business Analytics and Data Warehouse for MNCs and enterprises in various sectors: broadcasting, banking and finance, food and catering, government, insurance, manufacturing and retail. 5

Steering Committee Members of B4B Limited Rita Lun Idot Wong Rita has over 20 years experience in the investment industry. She was Partner and Portfolio Manager at Emerging Markets Management in Virginia, US between 1996-2012 focusing on the global technology sector and North Asia markets. (The company was acquired by Ashmore Group in 2011). Before that, she worked at CLSA and UBS in Hong Kong as Equity Analyst. In 2015, she coauthored with Prof Lap-Chee Tsui in the report The Ecosystem of Innovation and Technology by Our Hong Kong Foundation. She is also the Principal Investigator of the report Science, Technology and Mathematics Education published by the Academy of Sciences of Hong Kong in 2017. Rita is Chief Financial Officer of Arbele and founder of ACE Foundation, a charity organisation which has the promotion of scientific development and productivity growth in Hong Kong among its objectives. Rita is a BA graduate (History and Sociology) from The University of Hong Kong. Idot has over 20 years of marketing experience in developing global brands with local relevance through the full spectrum of marketing management: marketing strategy, branding & communications, product management, product roadmap, product development, events, fairs and showrooms. She was a core team member building Kohler as the top kitchen and bath brand in China and the Asia Pacific from 1997 to 2012. She was Area Marketing Director, Asia Pacific & Australia for Dorma, the leading German provider of premium building access solutions from 2012 to 2015. 6
