With an Innovation Strategy in place, it is a lot easier to generate and choose the right ideas, and to develop and launch new propositions with substantially increased success rates, i.e. better results. In the masterclass on Innovation Strategy, Jeroen de Kempenaer and Rob de Graaf from Philips Innovation Services, Industry Consulting, will walk you through the steps of creating an Innovation Strategy yourself, based on their experience implementing and deploying innovation strategies in various industries. The masterclass addresses the following questions: Why should my company have an Innovation Strategy? How do I define where my company needs to innovate? How do I know when my company needs to innovate? How do I determine the needed innovation effort? How do I create the right innovation capabilities? There will be a mix of theory, cases from industry, and working on your own Innovation Strategy framework to capture what you have learned. As every company in now in the digital age, there will be an intermezzo on Digital Innovation from an Innovation Strategy perspective. 1 Turning Strategy Into Results, Donald Sull, Stefano Turconi, Charles Sull, and James Yoder, MIT Sloan Management Review, September 28, 2017 Philips Innovation Services 2
