Growth Infrastructure Adequate and maintained infrastructure is the foundation for continuing existing development and expanding into new areas. Research and Development Research and development serves as the bridge for industry to move from ideas to new development. Regulatory Environment A regulatory environment, at both the federal and state levels, that encourages economic growth while ensuring environmentally-responsible development of natural resources is essential. Workforce As the energy industry expands, the workforce must be available to meet the demands. Without adequate workforce development, expansion is not possible.
