Scope of Work The Joint Land Use Study Implementation (JLUS) will be a series of projects that will address the recommendations in the Fort Riley Joint Land Use Study. The corridor between Fort Riley Army Base and Smoky Hill Weapons Range is the project included in this particular Scope of Work. The Flint Hills Regional Council and any consultant, contractor or subgrantee operating under the terms of this proposal will comply with all Federal, State, and local laws and regulations applicable to its activities. All procurement for contractual services will be in accordance with the applicable State and local laws and regulations, and applicable Federal laws and standards in accordance with the procurement standards outlined in 2 CFR Part 200, Uniformed Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards. Contractor selection will be included in any RFP that is issued and cost will be a factor in selection. The chosen consultant will lead many of the duties and activities expressed in the below Scope of Work with the North Central Regional Planning Commission (NCRPC) as administrative support and both will be compensated for such activities as allowed by the approved project budget. UNMANNED AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS CORRIDOR STUDY The UAS Corridor Study will be managed by the Staff of the North Central Regional Planning Commission as a subgrantee. It will include the: TASK 1: Project Initiation Task 1a Kickoff Meetings The selected consultant will conduct a "kick off' meeting where the consultant meets the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) and Policy Committee for the first time to confirm scope of work, set schedule, and address any questions. The consultant will be responsible for the day to day coordination of the UAS Corridor Study (the Study). Task 1b Installation Tour The consultant will participate in an installation tour focused on the UAS program and operations including outlying facilities as appropriate. The purpose of the installation led tour is for the Policy Committee, the TAC, and the consultant to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the issues and constraints imposed on the UAS mission through incompatible development. 1
