The Pride of David C. Gregg, Director rant February 1st, 2018 Dear" Pride of Durant" Members and Parents, Greetings. This letter is to let you know some information about upcoming events this summer. Enclosed in this letter is the following: 1. Summer Band Camp Schedule and Information 2. Tentative Schedule for 2018-2019 3. Order Form and List of Items and fees Please remember that summer band camp is a requirement not optional. If you have a problem with any of these dates or times and have not informed me already or are not planning to participate in the Pride, I need to know ASAP. Absence and tardiness without prior notification could result in a loss of position in next year' s contest show. I would like to take this opportunity to say how excited I am about this coming year. We will once again break our size record and our talent level continues to go through the roof with next year' s freshmen. The Pride has been very successful for several years and has established a strong and proud tradition in Class 5A. We are going to continue to build on this tradition with new ideas and concepts that I feel will continue to enhance your kids experience as a Pride member. I feel that if everyone comes to camp with a good attitude ready to give 100% to his or her part then we will take this success to new heights. There will be ice water at each outdoor rehearsal. You are encouraged to bring your own drinks too. Get outside as much as possible the week before camp so you can get used to the temperature. Students who have the most problems are the ones who do not get outside much in the summer.
