In this symbiotic state, the mother and infant s individual homeostatic systems are linked, allowing for the mother s regulation of the infant s central nervous system. During this critical period, the mothering process strongly influences the infant s emotional development and the development of the relevant underlying brain structures. Myra Sabir, PhD, Binghamton University Asst. Lauren Deutsch, JD, ESQ, Executive Dir., Healthy Baby Network The Behavioral and Cognitive Science of Personalized Perinatal Patient Engagement: This session will focus on providers practices of approaching Perinatal Population Health Management and Care Coordination.
