(Approval) A Resolution Rescinding Resolution # 588 Dated 5 November 2012 for Public Hearing: Notice to Repair or Demolish 216 West 2nd Street. A building permit for demolition was issued and the demolition is done. Council Members Hass and Burdette moved and seconded to approve the resolution. Motion carried by voice vote. RESOLUTION # 589 D. (Approval) Invitation to Honorable Marshall Christmann & Honorable Mr. Jay Scott Emler to attend City Council Meeting 7 January 2013 or 22 January 2013. Issues of Concern/ Support LKM Municipal Policies. Council Members Hass and Minix moved and seconded to approve the invitation. Motion carried by voice vote. E. (Approval) Ordinance: 2012 Changes to City of Lyons Comprehensive Plan. Kerry Davison representing the Planning Commission reviewed the public hearing at Planning Commission and reported the Planning Commission recommendation to approve the three items of change to the Comprehensive Plan. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1721 OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR THE CITY OF LYONS, KANSAS was presented. Council Members Hass and Harkrader moved and seconded to approve. Voting was: Drake yes, Minix yes, Harkrader yes, Burdette yes, Goforth yes, Payne yes, Hass yes. Motion carried with seven yes votes. ORDINANCE # 1893 F. (Approval) Appointment: Chris Snyder Tree Board Term: 3 Years. Dec 2012 to Dec 2015 G. (Approval) Appointment: Janie Riggs Tree Board Term: 3 Years. Dec 2012 to Dec 2015 Council Members Hass and Payne moved and seconded to approve the appointments of Mrs. Snyder and Mrs. Riggs to the Tree Board. Motion carried by voice vote. H. Administrator Sweet explained the 5-year plan as reviewed by Kirkham Michaels, FAA, and the airport manager, and reported that it had been approved by Rice County. Council Members Minix and Harkrader moved and seconded to approve. Motion carried by voice vote. Administrator Sweet reviewed the long-range plan.
