EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES AT KLE CBA Sports Forum 2017-18 The following were the events conducted by Sports Forum for the year 2016-17. 1. Smash out 2017 The event was conducted on 10 th September 2017 for all students of BBA. The event was won by students of III semester BBA Students. 2. Throw Ball 2017 The event was conducted on 11 September 2017 for all students of BBA. The event was won by students of I semester BBA Students. 3. Lagori 2017 The event was conducted on 11 September 2017 for all students of BBA. The event was won by students of V semester BBA Students. 4. Striker 2018 The event was conducted on 5 Jan 2018 for all students of BBA, the category where, singles doubles and mixed doubles. 5. Swimming Conducted by KUD Mr. AnupLaxmeshwar 6 th sem - 3 rd place in freestylerelay - 2 nd place in 1 meter spring board diving - 1 st place in 3 meter diving - 1 st place in High boarddiving Mr. Chinmay Shah 2 nd sem - 3 rd place in freestyle relay - 3 rd place in breaststroke 6. Students representing at national level

Mr. AnupLaxmeshwar of 6 th sem represented Karnatak university at national level in spring board diving. 7. KLE Society s BBA Sports meet The event was conducted on 2 nd Feb at KLE BBA College Belgaum. We had series of winners. Basketball for boy s winners Throw ball for girl s winners TT runners singles TT runners doubles Badminton girl s double winner s singles runners Carrom girl s 3rd place Tug of war boy s winner s girls runners 8. GEF Trophy KLE CBA won the GEF cricket Trophy conducted by global college of commerce Hubli. CULTURAL FORUM 1. JASHN-E AZADI 2017 A group consisting of 7 students bagged the second place in group song and Mr Akshaykumar S Pattanshetti bagged the third place in solo patriotic singing, in the event JASHN-E-AZADI, organized by Anjuman Institute of Information Science & Management, Dharwad on 9 th August 2017. Students from over 10 colleges participated in this inter college Patriotic Singing Competition.

2. PROFESSIONAL DAY Conducted Inhouse Event Professional Day on 28 th August 2017. The winners of the event were Muskan Sanghvi and Ruhali Chavhan from 3 rd year secured 1 st Prize in Group performance, Akshaykumar S Pattanshetti, Nayan Shetty, Joel George and Anjani Kamat from 1 st & 2 nd year secured 2 nd Prize in Group Performance and Dhaneshwari N M and Rahul D Mirajkar from 1 st year secured 1 st prize in Solo performance. 3. UDBHAV FEST Cultural Fest was conducted by Fatima Degree College, Hubballi on 6 th and 7 th of October 2017. Kinjal Jain bagged 1 st place in Food Fiesta. Radhika Laddha bagged 1 st Place in Beautiful Blossoms. The team consisting of Sadaf Ansari & Bafna Rishi Vijay and Gouravkumar Salecha & Mohammed Zuber Killedar bagged 1 st and 2 nd prize respectively in Kwizzitalk. Akash Pawar bagged 2 nd place in Face painting. Vinit Kanuga & Nishita Manek bagged Best solo and Best Couple awards respectively in Dandiya.The team consists of Manali Sanghvi, Akshata Kambalihal, Ruhali Chavan, Divya Jartarghar, Vaishnavi Shettru, Neha A M, Shivani Salecha, and Mithali Kale bagged 1 st prize in Dance Competition. 4. CUL-AH FEST Cul-Ah Fest was conducted by Mount Carmel College, Bangalore on 7th, 8th and 9th of December 2017. Bharat Jain and Dheeraj Rathod secured 2nd place in Needle on Point. Mahantesh Goni and Akash Pawar won 3rd place in Blind Art. Lavish Bhandari & Sameer S secured 3rd Place in Food Blogging. The team consisting of Akshaykumar A Washappanavar, Vaishnavi Shettru, Mahantesh Goni, Divya Jartarghar, Ruhali Chavan and Sameer S secured 2nd prize in Rehasion Show. T

Selvan, Shaikh Nayaab Ahmad and Mafaz Ahmed Jagirdar secured 3rd place in the mystery of sovereign. Vinaykumar Kadabigeri & Akshaykumar A Washappanavar won 3rd prize in Queen o folio.the team consists of Vinaykumar Kadabigeri, Srinidhi Katti, Suprita S Chatni, Nivedita M Nayak, Gouri Akki, Prakash Kammar, Chinmai Nayak, Sathi Dasaradh Durga Papa Reddy, Ramya P & Swati Vasu won 3rd prize in Nukkad Nataka. Lavish Bhandari & Mafaz Ahmed Jagirdar secured 3rd prize in the event Who is Sherlock? 5. TWINS DAY Celebrated Twins Day on 28 th December 2017, winners of the event were Afreen Soudagar and Neha Shareef from 3 rd year secured 1 st Prize, Vaishnavi Shettru and Megha Niranjan from 3 rd year secured 2 nd Prize and Vishal Trivedi and Sainath S Dhongadi from 1 st year secured 3 rd prize. 6. ETHNIC DAY Celebrated Ethnic Day on 12 th January 2018; the winners of the event were Neha A M and Harshita Revankar from 1 st year bagged 1 st Prize, Sagar Bevoor and Neha D Bandekar from 1 st year bagged 2 nd Prize. Best dressed boy was Sahadev Hirekerur and Best dressed girl was Ruhali Chavan from 3 rd year. 7. CBA S GOT TALENT To help students to discover their hidden talents and execute them in their innovative and creative way an In-house Event Called CBA s Got Talent was conducted on 22 nd January 2018 Winners in different categories were Shridhar

Joliholi, Neha A M and Arpit K Palgota secured 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd Prize in Solo Dance Performance respectively, Manali R Sanghvi & Shruti Musale secured 1 st Prize in Duet dance performance, Ruhali Chavan & Shruti Musale secured 2 nd Prize in Duet dance performance. Ruhali Chavan, Mitali Kale, Divya Jartarghar, Vaishnavi U Shettru, Manali R Sanghvi, Neha A M bagged 1 st Prize in Group Dance Competition. Ummearfa A Haveri, Akshaykumar S Pattanshetti and Dhaneshwari N M bagged 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd prize in Solo Singing competition respectively. A group consisting of Nayan Shetti, Ummearfa A Haveri, Shrinidhi Katti, Akshaykumar S Pattanshetti bagged 1 st prize in Group Singing Competition. Vinutha N and Shradha Nadagouda secured 1 st & 2 nd prize in Rangoli respectively. Harshita P Rewankar & Nagashree B D secured 1 st & 2 nd consolation prize in Painting and Mehandi competition respectively. Saifullah, K Ramnath Shenoy, Sahadev Hirekerur and Sachin N Pattar secured 1 st 2 nd & 3 rd prize in Miscellaneous Category respectively. 8. RETRO DAY It was celebrated on 21 st February 2018, the winners of the event were Mahantesh S Goni and Vaishnavi Shettru from 3rd year bagged 1 st Prize, Muskan Sanghvi and Tarun Jain from 3rd year secured 2 nd Prize. Best dressed boy was Vishal Trivedi and best dressed girl was Neha A M from 1 st year. Adventure Forum Report Adventure forum in the month of March 2018 came up with yet another successful edition of Bullet Expedition, the expedition traversed to Dandeli on Royal Enfield Bullets, total 39 bullets took part in the expedition. Students also took part in other various activities like Trekking, Boating and River Rafting. The objective of expedition was to inculcate management concepts like Team Work and Resources Management.

INTRODUCTION TO CSR FORUM CSR FORUM Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a business approach that contributes to sustainable development by delivering economic, social and environmental benefits for all stakeholders. CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Forum - The Concern of KLE CBA Students towards Society EVENTS CONDUCTED BY CSR FORUM KLE CBA believes in practicing leadership. KLE CBA started the CSR forum in 2005 to contribute to the creation of a peaceful and problem free society. CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Forum has been tremendously successful in creating awareness. Many interesting events have been organized by the students. A few noteworthy events are: 1. DRISHYA It was conducted on 31 st August 2k17. It was a short film making competition by students of our college which depicted a social message. 2. PRAYAAS 2k17 An Effort to make a Difference It was conducted on 27 th September 2k17. Prayaas is an initiative to serve and help the less fortunate. It is all about helping the Orphan kids by giving the basic necessity. The orphanage chosen this year was VISHWADHARMA NIRGATHIKA MAKKALA KUTEERA,which is located in Nekar nagar, Hubli. The amount received from people in form of donation will be used towards betterment of Orphan children. Events Conducted: III Forum

1. Industry Interface Forum organized Industrial Trip to Lakshmi Coffee Works, Malpe for 2nd Year Students on 2-March 2018 and 3-March 2018 2. The Forum organized Industrial Trip to 3 rd Year Students to SLN Coffee Curing Works, Coorg on 23 rd -March 2018 and 24 th -March 2018 3. Industry Interface Forum conducted Placement Drive on 23-Feb 2018 Inviting Thyrocare Technologies, Mumbai for the Position of Business Development Executive 4. Employment Opportunities to the Students for Different Job Roles and Positions 5. The Forum organized Industry Visit to Embee Agro Foods, Davangere for 1 st year students on Sept-9-2017 6. 1 st Year students were provided opportunity to learn the Manufacturing process in PARLE group of Companies, Gokul road, Hubballi. MAJOR ACHIEVEMENT: The Wings to Mind Forum had organized B-plan Competition an In-House event on September 18 th 2017. WINNERS OF THE B-PLAN COMPETITION 1 st Place-Arbaz Samsi & Sufiyankhan Rasheedkhan 2 nd Place-Saqlain M &Shreyas B Kasbekar 3 rd Place-Akshaykumar S Pattanshetti & Zaid Samsi. CBA Creations: CBA Creations is responsible for handling the social media handles of the college on popular platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter. The team of CBA Creations has dedicated students who handle photography, design of banners and flyers and video making. Team CBA Creations plays a crucial role in all the Events, right from capturing the magical moments to taking those moments to the masses. LADIES FORUM ARTEES was organized to bring out the painting and creative talents of students on t-shirts. This was done in collaboration with Ambience forum. In this the learning process was presenting your creativity with a theme. 1st prize was bagged by Whitney Wuzor & Leena D. Bhandri, 2 nd prize was shared by Neha Shareef & Franklin and Dayasagar Arikeri & Ramya R P, 3 rd prize was bagged by Akash Pawar and Mantesh Goni. CBA-Chef was organized to bring out the cooking and presentation skills of students. In this the learning process was time management, utilization and working with limited resources and co-ordination with partner. 1st prize was bagged by Ayushi Jain & Manjunath Tonshyal, 2 nd

prize was shared by Akash Pawar & Mantesh Goni and Kinjal G.Jain & Vidhi H. Munoyat, 3 rd prize was shared by Muskan Sanghavi & Ruhali Chauhan and Mahima Bolledu & Shahana Sayed AMBIENCE FORUM KLE S CBA believes in creativity. This is made possible by providing them a platform by installing the ambience forum which helps them exhibit their creativity and also enrich their organizing skills by hosting various events. SMILE CAMPAIGN was organized to spread out smile on the faces of students and teachers out of their busy schedule. 1 st place was bagged by Rahul Mudhol, 2 nd place was bagged by Wesley Elias, 3 rd place was bagged by BasvarajRumalmath ARTEES was organized to bring out the painting and creative talents of students on t-shirts. This was done in collaboration with Ambience Forum. In this the learning process was presenting your creativity with a theme. 1 st prize was bagged by Whitney Wuzor and Leena Bhandari, 2 nd prize was bagged by Neha Shareef and Franklin Darla and Dayasagar Arikera, 3 rd prize was bagged by Akash Pawar and Mahantesh Goni Thinker s Forum. Jigyasa 18- Anand Patil. a seminar on career planning Raghu M- Sapna book house branch Manager spoke on the journey of Sapna Book house from a tea vendor to holding 16 branches in Karnataka. Enigma an event to find innovative minds was conducted by KLECBA in October. With 60+ teams participating. On spot themes were given to all. Nagma mirajkar blogger was the chief guest of the event.

Elite Forum Elite Forum was a seed planted in the educational garden of CBA to grow the students to achieve excellence in implementing the learning s to practical situations. The management fest forum aims at creating competitors with the skill sets to win against a formidable opponent rather than win against a weak opposition. The forum has constantly been changing the way students are trained to participate and win in fests. The Forum encourages the winning spirit and celebrates the same. Students attended fests conducted all over India Our students have participated in over 30 fests and competitions in the year 2017-2018. They have won 2 General Championships and more than 50 individual prizes for their outstanding performances in events of Finance, Marketing Human Resource, Best Manager, Quiz and elocution. This year students visited Belgaum, Bangalore, Mangalore, Manipal, Bhatkal, Hubballi, Hyderabad, Goa and few others. With 35 General Championships the Forum adds a feather to the cap of KLECBA.
