Summary Analysis Overall, the Grant Feasibility Testing and the Grant Market Analysis showed an excellent potential for funding for SAMPLE CHURCH. About SAMPLE CHURCH Information about the church will be research and put here. Grant Feasibility Testing (GFT) Grant Search: Our GFT showed a large number of foundations have given grants to organizations with missions and programs similar to SAMPLE CHURCH. U.S. Foundations awarded 524 grants totaling over $9 Million to programs located in Suffolk, Virginia, and 766 grants totaling over $79 Million have been awarded to Virginia-based organizations for Building purposes. Foundation Search: Similarly, we were able to identify large numbers of foundations that express an interest in funding programs in the same funding categories as SAMPLE CHURCH. In the Virginia, 167 foundations were identified who support organizations involved in Christian programs, with total assets exceeding $2.7 Billion. Moreover, there are 223 Virginia-based foundations with assets totaling $11 Billion specifically interested in funding churches. Grant Market Analysis The Grant Market Analysis revealed strong potential to secure the amount of funding SAMPLE CHURCH has estimated it needs to reach its goals. The top 5 organizations used for the Grant Market Analysis secured a combined $8.1 Million in grant funding through 142 grants from 35 different foundations, showing that they were able to secure a broad base of support through multiple funding sources not just through one or two related family foundations. Overall these organizations secured an average of 28 grants per organization with an average size of $57,438 for total average funding per organization of $1,631,229. Results Expected Grant writing is a long-term development strategy. Although the results of our Grant Feasibility Testing and Grant Market Analysis indicate a high likelihood of success, SAMPLE CHURCH still needs to be cognizant of the grant development process. Our goal in the first year is to position SAMPLE CHURCH for long-term grant development success by building initial relationships with funding sources, establishing the organization s presence in the foundation community, and beginning to secure grant funds for the organization. Because many funders do not fund first time applicants, we will expect many more rejections than grant awards in the first year. In the following year, we will resubmit to positive rejections from the first year. A positive rejection is a funding request that is denied but that has left an opening for future funding. Since many foundations pass on first year applicants, we can expect much better results from our positive rejections as we have now established our presence and initiated a relationship. We will also continue to apply to additional funding sources identified in the Funding Source Report, and research for new funding sources. Page 3 of 12

The length of time it will take to secure all of the funding needed to complete the project will depend upon the contract level SAMPLE CHURCH decides to utilize (see attached proposal). The Optimized Full Service Contract option outlined in the attached proposal of services is designed to take advantage of all of the funding opportunities available to SAMPLE CHURCH and maximize the funding potential identified in the Grant Feasibility Testing and the Grant Market Analysis. Of course, we cannot guarantee any result due to the many variables that make any guarantee impractical. Some of these variables include the funding climate, responsiveness of staff/council members, performance of staff/council members, variables in response to appeals, events, and grantors, etc. What we can guarantee is: as a long-term development strategy grant writing always produces fruit in the longterm. We have never seen grant writing not pay off for an organization when they took a persistent, consistent, organized, and professional approach to grant development. We look forward to the opportunity to serve you, help you reach your grant development goals, and help you further develop and refine your ministry for grant development success. If you have any questions, please call me on my direct line at 540-533-0715. In His Service, Dr. Jeffrey J. Rodman, CFRE, CGS President & CEO Here-4-You Consulting Grant Feasibility Testing We conduct a Grant Feasibility Test (GFT) on every potential client to ensure that they have a fundable program. The GFT will look at similar organizations, who funds those organizations, how many funders focus on your geographic location of services, and what funding exists for the type of program proposed. The GFT ensures that our energies are likely to be successful and are not wasting your time, Page 4 of 12

Organizations Searched CENTREVILLE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH in Centreville, Virginia Centreville United Methodist Church is called by God to serve Jesus Christ as a community of faith, help, and hope. In order to realize this vision, the community of faith makes disciples for Jesus Christ; ministers to its own; and is in mission to others. CUMC's beliefs include faith in God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH in Richmond, Virginia First Baptist has been first in many other ways. Not only was it the first church of any denomination to be organized in Richmond, the first Baptist church organized in a Virginia city, and the first church in Virginia to organize a missionary society for women, but it also was the first in the city to organize a Sunday school for children, the first in America to send her own members as foreign missionaries to the continent of Africa, and the first in the Southern Baptist Convention to have a church library. GRACE COVENANT PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH in Blacksburg, Virginia GCPC seeks to be a church which not only loves the Truth as found in the Bible, but which also truly loves God and one another more out of gratitude for God s grace. This means that GCPC strives to be a church where the worship is heartfelt and God-centered, where the preaching comes out of the Bible and always points to Jesus, where growing in humility and the fruit of the Spirit is more than visible achievement, where people count more than programs, where daily devotion outweighs big events, and where spiritual health is more valued than numbers. MCLEAN BIBLE CHURCH in McLean, Virginia From its humble beginnings to where it is now, McLean Bible Church has remained true to God s calling. McLean bible Church has always believed that in order to accomplish its mission it must be willing to step out in visionary faith and take risks for God, and He has blessed the church for that. Through studying where the church has been, McLean Bible Church clearly sees God at work. This gives the community at McLean Bible Church hope for the future and inspires them to continue to seek to make an impact on secular Washington with the message of Jesus Christ. TABERNACLE CHURCH OF NORFOLK in Norfolk, Virginia Tabernacle Church strives to become the kind of church described in the Bible a church with relevant teaching, heartfelt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need. The purpose of Tabernacle Church is to glorify God by giving Him undivided worship, reaching the world for Christ, adopting others into the church family, coaching them to spiritual maturity, and empowering them for ministry.
