The Company s corporate social responsibility ( CSR ) programmes are outlined in its CSR policy as published on the Company s website at http://images.apple.com/in/legal/policies/apple_india_csr.pdf (the CSR Policy ). The Company s CSR Policy obligates the Company to undertake specific CSR and programmes, as approved from time to time by the Company s CSR committee, in accordance with the CSR Policy s pre-established categories. To that end, during the fiscal year ended March 31, 217, the CSR committee implemented three specific CSR in accordance with the CSR Policy. The three involved, among other things: Supporting Barefoot College in the electrification of rural villages the use of sustainable solar energy power generation, the provision of education to the children of these villages, and the promotion of women s empowerment the training of Solar Mamas. These carried out in Manipur, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Andra Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir. Supporting the Akanksha Foundation and Teach For India in the provision of high-quality education to low-income communities in Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad and Bangalore, among other things, financial support for teachers and the implementation of innovative training and new equipment. 2. As of March 31, 217, the CSR committee consisted of Guarav Duggal, Peter Ronald Denwood and Gene Daniel Levoff, directors of the Company. 3. The average net profit of the Company for the three financial years ended March 31, 217 (FY 214-15, FY 215-16, FY 216-17) was 3,351,114,435 4. The total amount of CSR to be spent by the Company during the fiscal year ended March 31, 217 of 67,22,289 million. An additional donation of 13.4 million ($2k) by the Apple leadership made the total CSR budget for the year ended 31 March 217 of 8,436,15 5. The total actual amount spent on CSR and of the Company March 31, 217 was 84,53,833.
