Nevada State Board of NURSING MINUTES OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING May 5, 2011 The Executive Committee Meeting of the Nevada State Board of Nursing was called to order by President Doreen Begley, MS, RN at 8:35 a.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2011, teleconferenced at Nevada State Board of Nursing, 5011 Meadowood Mall Way #300, Reno, NV 89502 and 2500 W. Sahara Ave., Suite 207, Las Vegas NV 89102. She must successfully complete the LPN NCLEX exam, complete a Board approved LPN refresher program, and then may be issued a permanent license all to be completed within twelve months or the application is automatically denied without further proceedings for violation of NRS 632.270 qualification and fee for applicants for license, NRS 632.320 disciplinary actions Board may take against licensees or holders of certificates. g. Verbanac, Angela, CNA applicant: Applicant was present. It was moved and certification and the Agreement for Monitoring for violation of NRS 632.320 (1)(b) criminal conviction. h. Johnson, Todd, RN applicant: Applicant was not present. It was moved and seconded the Executive Committee recommend the Board deny the application for licensure for violation of NRS 632.320 (1)(g) unprofessional conduct, and NAC 632.890 (9) impaired practice, and order the denial become part of the applicant s permanent record and be published and reported to all appropriate agencies.
