Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote patient safety Implement enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact enlc becomes active when twenty six (26) states adopt, or December 31, 2018 arrives ED to report updates to Board/staff At least quarterly Implementation: Funding Funding from NCSBN requested/obtained Staff and Board Marketing- IT- Rules- Staff and Software Developer March 2017 Operations- on-line multi state license application available Implement Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Compact (APRNC) Ten (10) states adopt APRNC NPA reflects changes for APRNC ED to report updates to Board/staff At least once a year Rule revisions capture current process, evidence and/or recommendations. Board approves FINAL proposed Chapter revisions at public meeting prior to initiating rules promulgation process. For all chapters, ED provides update on rules promulgation progress.
