TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY-TEXARKANATM On behalf of Eagle Impact for Texas A&M University - Texarkana, in conjunction with Texarkana Country Club, I would like to personally invite you to our sixth annual Hats and Horses: A Day at the Derby, Texarkana s premier Kentucky Derby watch party. The event will be held on Saturday, May 6th from 4:00 7:00 PM at Texarkana Country Club. Eagle Impact s mission is to impact student life in three key areas: Scholarships, Athletics, and Welcome Week. Eagle Impact provides scholarship opportunities for Texas A&M University- Texarkana students, aids in supporting the growing needs of the Eagles Athletics, and hosts an event during Bringle Lake Village Residence Hall Move In Weekend. We chose these areas because of the relationships they build within our student body. Student life is where college memories are made. We want students and student-athletes to enjoy going to college in Texarkana. If our students love being in Texarkana, we will have a better opportunity to retain them in our community. This is where you come in. The funds raised at our Hats and Horses event will directly benefit A&M-Texarkana s athletic department and student life. Hats and Horses: A Day at the Derby is our signature fundraising event. Each year, guests watch the live running of the Kentucky Derby while enjoying Derby-themed food and music all while raising funds and awareness to benefit Eagle Impact for Texas A&M University-Texarkana. Please find enclosed a sponsorship packet for your review. Individual tickets are $50 per person or $40 for current Eagle Impact members.
