Structure of Career Development Subcommittee 3 Teams, 26 members Team 1: Operations LCDR Neelam Ghiya, Lead Provides information and guidance to HSOs including website updates, CV template revisions, and communications including letters, webinars, and conference calls. This team will also be responsible for planning and setting up the HSO booth for the annual COA conference. Team 2: Promotion CDR Kelly Brown, Lead Serves in a resource and advisory capacity related to promotions by keeping abreast of new developments and policies, setting up career counseling, webinars, and CV reviews, and developing content for promotion communications. Team 3: Analytic/Assessment CDR Joseph (Jay) Roth, Lead Assesses and analyzes HSO data including trends in the promotable officer profile, HSO career assessments and training needs, and standardizing the structure and approach to CDS data. This team is responsible for putting together the annual CDS report.

Policy Subcommittee Charges Maintain an up to date HS PAC Charter and HS PAC Bylaws every three years. Act as a reviewing official for the HSO Resource Directory every two years. Monitor activities of the PAC and develop or revise policies and/or operating procedures. Address and comment on all issues involving Category policy standards, such asthe Corps promotionprocess process, category appointment standards, and licensure/certifications. Annually address, revise, update, and recommend HSO policyrelated to issues as required by OSG, CPO, HS PAC Chair or members of the Category.
Activities/Accomplishments Activities updating and reviewing the Bylaws and Health Service Resource Directory. Accomplishments 2014 15 Policy Subcommittee revised the 9 th Ed HSO Resource Directory. The Directory was approved by PAC VMf for release on the HSO website. Action Item Call to collaborate with 5 PAGs Policy leaders to ensure current group ppolicy documents are up to date and consistent with HSPAC Policy.

Current Readiness Metrics As of 5/28/ 2014 for 7/1/14 Official Report: HSOs meeting basic readiness status is 78.73%, 2 nd in readiness ranking for the Corps. Basic: 941 Exempt: 125 Not Qualified: 288 Total: 1,354 Basic + Exempt: 1,066

HSAAP was formerly the Health Services Applicant Placement Program (HSAPP). Attend the monthly Call to Active Duty (CAD) Advisory Group Meeting. Review all recruitment t booth thfunding requests for the HSO Ct Category. Present progress report at each Health Services Professional Advisory Committee (HS PAC) meeting. Draft surveys and other data collection documents and compile reports on any HSO specific surveys or general recruitment or retention topics.
