OPENING Past Commandant of Lincoln County Marines Detachment 1405 introduces Mike Moeller, Mayor of Maryland Heights for welcoming speech. The annual Convention meeting of the Department of Missouri, Marine Corps League was called to order by Commandant Bill Webb at 0830 hours at the Sheraton Chalet Hotel by Commandant Bill Webb. Colors are posted. Pledge of Allegiance is recited. 2. REGULAR MEETING PROCEEDS Jim Maevers makes bid for 2018 Department Convention to be held at Drury Inn in Cape Girardeau, dates to be announced at Fall Staff Meeting. Motion to accept by Chuck Covert, second by Jerry Bradley. Motion carries. 3. INTRODUCTION OF GUESTS National Sr. Vice Commandant Wendell Webb, Chief Devil Dog O. C. Miller moved, Stella seconded to maintain $3.00 delegate fee for Convention. Motion carried. 16. NEW BUSINESS Jjorgenson moved, T. Terry seconded that Department donate $300.00 to Segs for Vets. Motion carried Miller moved, T. Terry seconded that $200.00 be donated to MCL Foundation from next year s budget. Motion carried. Nisbet moved, Bradley seconded that $200.00 be donated to Fallen Heroes Dream Ride. Motion carried. Wendell Webb reported on the National Office, changes coming in National By- Laws, the new Data Base, a new CEO has been selected. He responded to questions. Recess at 1140 hours, to reconvene at 1300 hours. 17. RECONVENING OF MEETING Commandant Webb reconvenes meeting at 1300 hours.
