We had roughly 27 Business Honors students and faculty attend the first Business Honors Meet & Greet. The purpose of this event was to promote greater collaboration between both Business Honors cohorts and the distinguished CBA faculty. Business Honors Gathering Due to the success of the Business Honors Meet & Greet, a second event will be held in early November. The Purpose of this event will be to further collaboration among the Business Honors Students and the distinguished CBA faculty. This event will also create interest in the newly formed Business Honors Club. College of Business Administration Homecoming Tailgate Planned and successfully executed in collaboration with Business Student Services, Business Student Ambassadors, and Bonnie Burnell, Director of Business Student Services. The event had a great turnout, students, alumni, and the community came together to support our Sacramento State Football Team before the big game. Business Joint Leadership Council (BLJC) The Joint Council is on track to be recognized by Student Organizations & Leadership by the November 15 th new club deadline. The Joint Council still has open executive positions to fill.
Sacramento Association of Collegiate Entrepreneurs (SACE) I have been collaborating with Robert Rose to re-initiate this very successful business organization. A constitution for this organization has been drafted and is currently being revised. This organization is on track to be recognized by Student Organizations & Leadership by the November 15 th new club deadline. Beta Gamma Sigma Academic Honor Society Recently I have been appointed to the executive position of treasurer for the organization. I will be handling all financial matters regarding this organization. Business Honors Club A group of fellow Business Honors students and I founded this club to promote collaboration between the Business Honors cohorts and the distinguished CBA faculty. I have been appointed to the executive position of treasurer for the organization. I will be handling all financial matters regarding this new organization on campus. ASI Strategic Priority Progress Priority 1.0 ASI Awareness & Visibility 1.1- Participate and Promote in ASI Week- Complete 1.2- Establish ASI bulletin board in academic colleges -Identify available space: Complete -ASI is allotted space on the electronic touchscreens in Tahoe Hall. 1.3- Enhance ASI s visibility on campus - Wear ASI apparel once a month: Complete -Tabling at least once a month: Complete -Hold a T-shirt exchange- In progress Priority 2.0 Enhance Campus Life 2.2- Create new traditions: In Progress -Attended tradition planning brainstorm 2.3- Participate in Homecoming Week: Complete -Attend at least two events Priority 4.0 Promote Student Opportunities and Achievements 4.1- Promote existing scholarships, internships, and research: In Progress Expand I am ASI campaign to profile student accomplishments: In Progress 4.2- Identify ways to recognize ASI scholarship recipients: In Progress -Working with VPAA, VPF, Education and SSIS Directors on how to best recognize students. 4.2- Research cost & availability for screens around campus: In Progress -In contact with Jeff Bingel, ITC for CBA on the costs associated with touchscreen panels.

University Committees IRT Steering Committee- First meeting is scheduled for 10/22/13 from 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. Alcohol Advisory Committee- This committee has not met this semester. First meeting is TBD.
