See attached 48 present (94%) of conference attendees Lisa Snow from CFCC motioned Jane Arendas seconded the motion from CCCTI, all for none opposed Treasurers Report >>>> Earlie Barnes presented the Treasurer s Report Current Balance 78,643.52 Earlie reminded members to meet the deadlines and pay dues prior to the conference to assist with bookkeeping purposes and to save money on their part Also encouraged to participate in the 5/5 Raffle

Membership Committee >>>> Earlie Barnes reported that 59 registered and 56 actually attended. Computer Technology >>>> Ginny Little reported Emails and reminders of deadlines were posted, reminding members of upcoming news and deadlines for scholarships and awards. Also Ginny Little reminded the membership that it may take up to 3 days after initial email sent in order for all members to received due to the max amount that is allowed on Go Daddy Server without an initial amount being charged to NCADN council. Members were reminded that the NCADN Council Facebook page is active, members are encouraged to subscribe, and emails take several days to send to entire listserv, so Facebook is a quick way to be informed of information. Members were encourage to like the NCADN Council Facebook page to stay up to date on current information. Also executive council has saved loads of money by doing quarterly meetings online, therefore no money needed for mileage. Newsletter >>>>> Amanda Moose reporting, the Newsletter was distributed via email to all members during the first week of April 27). Emails were sent out in regards to needing information to add to the newsletter about new innovative strategies/equipment that each school was utilizing. There was no response from any schools to include in the newsletter. Encouraged all in attendance to ensure email address is up to date and to confirm address prior to leaving the meeting. Program Committee >>>> Recognition of Gala Committee Members: Holly Risch, Allison Gilbert, Earlie Barnes, Ginny Little, Amanda Moose, Cheryl Logan, Diane Hagens, Barbara Barry, Amy Merritt, Rebecca Owens 5 th anniversary Gala is tonight in the ballroom at 6pm. Nominating Committee >>>> Amanda Moose presented to membership a ballots for open positions on the executive board [President Elect (2 yr); Secretary (2 yr), Parliamentarian (2 yr). Tabled until tomorrow. Sue Ellen Miller from Forsyth Tech discussed the need to table this also until tomorrow (4/2/7) until after the Business Meeting Minutes have been reviewed.

Judith Mann there was applicant which was nominated from Diane Hagens. Educator of Year>>> Benita Beard congratulated nominee and thanked membership for recognizing their peers. There were nomination this year. NEW Business >>> --Contract with Holiday Inn Sunspree (Wrightsville, NC) up for renewal this coming year (28). --Membership asked for dates of 28 conference 4-8, 4-9, 4-2-27. Judith Mann Scholarship (student) Cynthia Tores from Gaston Community CC, Thank you video showed to membership. 27 Educator of the Year Award: Wanda Honeycutt Benita Beard challenged membership to continue to recognize educators and increase nominations of worthy educators in 28. Sue Ellen Miller from Forsyth Technical Community College made motion to keep having at the Holiday Inn in Wrightsville, NC for next 3 years, Vicki Carroway from Mayland Community College second motion.
