GCSC at NASA Stennis Safety Day The Annual Stennis Safety day took place on Wednesday, September 6th at Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. Each year the event has a different theme; the theme of this years event focused on fall protection. Representatives from GCSC (Ray Billings, Rick Saizan and Tom Riches) handed out and discussed material to help educate event goers on scaffold safety and ladder safety both at home and in the workplace. Several hundred Stennis and contract employees made their way through the Atrium area of Stennis Space Center.

GCSC at DOW United Way Golf Tournament GCSC representatives Taxi Seneca and Ricky Anderson cooked a big pot of delicious Crawfish A-2-Fay for the Dow United Way Golf Tournament. It was held on August 21, 2017, at the Grand Ridge Golf Club in Luling, LA. It also happened to be the day of the solar eclipse!

Describe some of your responsibilities: Assist in Program Development, CBT Lab, Customer Service, Data Entry and/ or wherever I can be of help. How long have you been with GCSC? 1 year; September 12th Employee Spotlight: What is your favorite GCSC event and why? I enjoy the Golf Tournament. It is a very relaxed, fun and uplifting event to help others in need. I also enjoyed all the new people that I met and continue to see now in and out of the Council. Favorite activities/things to do when you re not working? Reading, Cooking, Dancing and most of all spending time with my husband Mike and our two kids Kaden and Kaili (especially on Hawaiian shirt and hammock Sunday s!) Favorite Restaurant: G.W. Fins Favorite Food: Grilled and/or Blackened Salmon Favorite Movie/Song: P.S. I Love You; Can t Help Falling In Love by Elvis Presley Tabatha Bush Three words to best describe you? Determined, Passionate, and Outgoing If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would buy? In order to win, you have to play, and I don t! Something most people would not know about you? I grew up as a military brat! I have traveled all of the globe. Who inspires you? My late father and my kids! Favorite Quote? Life is not sunshine and rainbows. It s a mean and nasty place that will beat you to your knees if you let it. It s not about how hard you can hit, but how much you can get hit and keep moving forward. Life is knowing what you as a person is worth and taking ALL hits to achieve it. That is how WINNING in life is done! Rocky
