MHS Computer Repair Program Computer Repair II students, Michael Hensley, Adam Kummers and Phillip LaFave, as well as other Repair students, unpacked new Dell computers purchased with Carl Perkins funds to replace old computers (purchased about 8 or 9 years ago) in Career Tech Business lab. Students had to install DVD burners in each computer to set it up for the classroom. These students are on track to complete a Career Tech Pathway and receive a certification from the Oklahoma Career Tech. Last year, the students in the computer repair classes saved the district approximately $135,000 in repair cost. It also gives students experience in the IT Field which will give them a better opportunity to be hired in the computer industry.
