Mission & Goals-Nursing Research, EBP & PI The mission is the advancement of the art & science of nursing practice through nursing research. Nursing research activities include: development, evaluation, testing, and dissemination of evidence for best nursing practices which drive cost effective, quality patient outcomes with protection of human subjects. 5

NKII Council Meets 2 nd Wednesday of each Month-rotating sites of Premier Health Purpose- Review nursing research projects submitted for approval to local HIRC and Wright State University Institutional Review Board. Provides evaluation & recommendations for EBP across the system including policies & procedures Assist nursing units in PI activities 6
